At Allenby we use Assure Health for our OT. Below is some background inform,tipn about our provider. 

At Assure Health we have experienced and dedicated Speech and Language Therapists working within specialist teams to provide the best possible assessment and treatment.

Assure therapists are members of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Health and Care Professions Council.

  •  Dedicated and experienced therapists who are used to assessing and treating a wide range
        of Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties.
  •  Therapists with extensive experience in a variety of therapeutic interventions and
        approaches.
  •  Well established relationships with a range of healthcare professionals such as GP's, ENT,
        Paediatricans as well as Professionals within Education, including teachers, SENCO's, 
        (Special Educational Needs Coordinators)
  •  Service providers to both the NHS and Education, on a short or long term basis, to help
        support departments in managing staff shortages.

Our Occupational Therapist

Lynsey is a highly Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist. She has extensive experience in early years (0-4 years) including children with sensory processing and modulation difficulties, co-ordination disorder and developmental delays.

Lynsey currently works with children who have difficulties with sensory integration, visual perceptual/gross motor and/or fine motor skills. She currently holds a part time job within the NHS, assessing and treating children with delayed and/or disordered motor/sensory patterns and co-ordination disorders.

Lynsey prides herself in her team working, with members of the multi-disciplinary team.

  • Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

  • Sensory Processing disorder.
  • Acute and chronic conditions, such as Stroke, Head Injury or a progressive Illness for example, Multiple Sclerosis or
       Parkinson's disease.
  • Been in hospital but have had a change to their independence.
  • Are experiencing a decline in independence at home
